Inborn 05:09
Hypodermic fingertips pierce with impunity, the world bends and folds to a new reality, Burn the sails and watch the tide rip. No lords, masters or chains to consistency Imposed bondage through privilege and safety. Shout from the towers. We are one and the same, deep in the dirt. Sharing the flames with each breath, They burn us together. Tie us forever. Look in the mirror of history, I am you, you are me, mix cells in solitary’s repetition. Life has poured it’s tar on all of us, self-inflicted none the less, bind hands, lock lips, swap skin, reborn. I am you, you are me birth/animal/death.
2.
Egos farce, is a face, worn most. Drenched dry, brittle boned. Chairs made of straw, constant build, constant fall. Born into moulds, seasonally old, when pride is the rule, no truth can be told. Rust bitten and orange soft. Alone. Shaped with no guiding hand, weak clay Suffocating, starving, open mouths need feeding Oh won’t you burn down your home Every path is a fight, no emotion unfurled. You don’t think you just say. Words like nails, crucify every way. You don’t get it do you. And you never will, Will you, I will you. It must be hard being blind to yourself. When the flesh falls off, and a scared child is revealed No one up. No one down.
3.
Dredging the shallows of self-loathing seed Yield the crops Handfuls of red sap, coat, your flesh Dry in the sun Shedding your skin through the death throes of time. Be reborn. Love in sunlight. Leave pity, abandon lost sight Hang your head high With the lynch rope of life Grow your armour thick And smile a smile as you bathe in it.
4.
Host eggs under the skin, rot in the wood Hatching relentless, entitlement boundless Warm blood, Cold hearts, black earth, nailed to the board since birth Race. Home. When, the golden, Sun burns, Out. When, the darknesses, hands, close, around. In one end and out the other
5.
Self-Healer 06:03
Who am I to say Whats a lie or play Carbon dioxide breather Mirrors line the day Curtains refuse to stay Open Shadows illuminate Your landfills shallow state Cauterised self healer Animals running the slaughter Limbless bodies holding the axe Carbon dioxide breather Cauterised self healer A brittle spirit creates brittle things x10 { seeds are buried In frozen ground petals weak Roots so cold dragging bodies down into mud
6.
Parched Ground Forming your path Decay Blunting your tools Decay Felling the days Falling away Paper Folding around Me Siamese Candles Dance a death inside me Lay up in a posture of slow decent cut out all the parts, of me swimming in concrete cut out the demons, tongue digesting the earth drive out the sullen spirits and lift the curse fasting to expire any lasting tire to breath the fire
7.
We plaster out bones in the soft sinking sand. Let go. Blood let ourselves to the dry rotting ground. Sleep walk. Tie our hopes to the changing wind. Open palms. Clouds of flame grow, build their temple around you(X2) Jump the liar’s rope Eye’s up, eye’s down Drink earths sound Sit up and bare your crown Burn your energy(x4) Conjuring, Ghosts Calling, The past Ride the nature of all things, Transfigure.. Bird’s claw, birds feather, their bite is better Liar’s rope Eyes down Bare your crown Burn your energy Inhale Exhume DON’T- HIDE IN- THE SHADE DRINK- MOUTH FULLS- OF PAIN WASH- YOUR SELF- IN FIRE BROKEN- BONES MEND STRONGER(together) IN- HALE EX-HUME LIFE EX-HALE IN-HALE ALL BURN-YOUR ENERGY GALLOP-THROUGH THE-NOBLE! IN-HALE! EX-HALE!
